One of the best things about growing up is becoming friends with your parents, and seeing them as real people, and not just embarrassing-ohmygod parents. I told her about work and guys and therapy. About my finace goals for next year, and things I’m struggling with at the moment (friends). She told me about her life, and all the events she’s been going to lately.
